White Card in Darwin and the Northern Territory

Construction across the Northern Territory, from Darwin's commercial builds to projects in Alice Springs, Katherine and Tennant Creek, all require workers to hold a valid White Card. The NT has fewer registered providers than the larger states, so it pays to book your face-to-face session early, especially outside Darwin.

NT WorkSafe regulates construction safety in the Territory under the national WHS framework, so the duty-of-care, hazard and PPE knowledge tested for the White Card is the same as anywhere in Australia. Given the NT climate, expect extra emphasis on heat stress, hydration and sun safety during your induction.
